Our ANGEL

Born July 25, 1984.

Much loved son of Mary & Al Wharton, brother and best friend to "sisty", Alana...  Grandson to Fred and Elizabeth Wharton, Rufus and the late Rowena Seamans.  Deeply missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Anyone who knew Ryan, know that he was a great guy.  From the very first time you laid eyes on him, you had to know that he was great inside and out!  He seemed to watch you as if to take you in and get to know you, without saying a word.  Ryan was brilliant and loving..  To have had a piece of Ryan in your life, you were blessed.  I Thank God every day for giving Ryan to me as a cousin, and i know he is in a better place now.  When he came into this world, he was a little Angel, that God lent to us for a short period of time.  Heaven surely needed another Angel, and God chose Ryan!

Ryan was an avid sports' fan.  He loved his NFL Monday Night.  Ryan had played hockey for several years and played football with the Grimsby Eagles, proudly displaying the number 53!!!  He also played hockey with G.M.H.A. for several years, and had in fact, been placed in a Coah's position this year.  The picture of Ryan on the front page of this website is his Coach's picture, and was taken on October 25, 2003.

Fat Man in a Little Coat

Our Special ANGEL

My heart is shattered and torn in two.  I can't believe he's gone.
His life too short, his days too few, He felt the need to run.
We'll forever ask the question "why".  The answers are unknown.
We only know our loved one, Ry, got his wings and to Heaven has flown.
I'll remember his smile and hearty laugh, the way he threw back his head.
And now the way my heart split in half, Life without him, i truly dread.
I tell myself not to cry too much, he'd hate to see my tears
Hold the love in a tight clutch, and remember all the great years!

I love and miss you so much Ry, my little Rookie!
Always in my heart (and on my back now too)
Cousin Sheri
